At Bercow Radell Fernandez Larkin & Tapanes, we are proud to serve the public good through pro bono legal work that aligns with our core values of equity, community, and access to opportunity. Our attorneys contribute their time and expertise to nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, faith-based communities, and cultural institutions, providing guidance on land use, zoning, permitting, and regulatory matters that are critical to their missions.
We believe that strengthening our community starts with service—and our pro bono work reflects a deep commitment to supporting the people and places that make South Florida vibrant and inclusive.
Featured Pro Bono Matters
The WOW Center
We provided zoning, subdivision, and permitting assistance for a new 21,957-square-foot facility that will allow The WOW Center to double its capacity to serve adults with developmental disabilities. The expanded center will include classrooms, training areas, and offices that promote independence and personal development

Pelican Harbor Seabird Station
Our team supported the development of a new wildlife hospital and rehabilitation center on a 2.63-acre archaeological site. The project expands Pelican Harbor’s capacity to care for native wildlife while preserving nearly half the site as open space and creating opportunities for community education.
South Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America
Our attorneys negotiated mitigation obligations with developers to address environmental concerns at a Boy Scout camp within Everglades National Park, helping preserve the property for future scouting use.
Granada Continuing Presbyterian Church
We coordinated with local governments to update water and sewer service agreements and facilitate infrastructure upgrades needed to maintain worship services and school operations on site.
Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center
We provided land use counsel to support the Center’s campus expansion, helping broaden its reach and impact in North Miami.
