CLIENT NEWS: Braman Motors Drives Bold Vision for Miami with 60-Story Towers and Auto-Inspired Living Hub

April 30, 2025

For the longest time, the name Braman Motors has been associated as one of the premiere names in Florida’s car scene. But this year, the automotive goliath has been venturing into the real estate industry. The company is launching a bold and transformative redevelopment project in Edgewater, Miami. They will be launching a 60-story mega project called the Braman Miami Campus. A revolutionary structure that merges high-rise living space with car culture.

“For nearly five decades, Braman has proudly contributed to the growth and vitality of Miami. Our master plan reflects a strategic vision for the transformation of our 50-year assemblage into a cohesive, pedestrian-oriented campus anchored by a state-of-the-art service building. This initiative enhances mobility, celebrates our automotive legacy, and reinforces our long-term commitment to investing in the future of the city. We look forward to continued collaboration with the City of Miami as this process moves forward,” says Brian Shack, Partner & General Counsel at Braman Automotive.

Innovating in the Urban Development Industry

The two Biscayne Boulevard towers may be developed by right under the Miami 21 Zoning Code. They are not fully designed or approved as part of the special area plan (SAP). The focus of this SAP is the new state-of-the-art service building, which was recommended for approval by the Urban Development Review Board (UDRB) last week and will move forward for approval by the City Commission as part of the SAP process.

Phase 1 – Phase 1 starts with the building of an 11-story automotive structure. This building will also include a 5-story showroom for high-end automobiles. It will also include storage for car inventory, a parts warehouse, and even service bays. This structure will most reflect the automotive inspiration for the entire hub. Also located nearby is a gas station and a car retail outpost for residents and guests.

Phase 2 – Phase 2 will introduce the main 60-story residential tower. The tower will feature 624 residential units and more than a thousand parking spaces. It will also feature over 84,000 square feet of retail and office space. The top of the building will have top of the line rooftop amenities that are usually found in residential towers.

Phase 3 – Phase 3 unveils a second 60-story tower with an additional 550 units. This structure will also include a smaller showroom space, but with a connecting pool deck and lounge for guests and residents. While it will feature less square footage, it will retain most of the amenities as the first residential structure. A 2-level pedestrian bridge will also connect tower 1 and 2 on the 12th and 13th floor, giving residents access to all the amenities.

Car Culture-Inspired Design

The obvious inspiration for the design of the campus is the automobile branding of Braman Motors. The design was made to look like a traditional car grille, but with each of the buildings having a sleek and modern style. The design is more than just branding, it is also about building with integration and productivity in mind. A modern take on how to include residential spaces with office and retail space while also including automotive functions into a single campus.

The Braman Miami Campus is Pushing the Limits of Urban Living

Aside from the three main structures, there are also designs on the living area surrounding the buildings. There is a priority on creating a pleasant pedestrian experience, with a Dutch urban concept that promotes a shared space for both vehicles and pedestrians to share. This goes hand in hand with a woonerf with expanded sidewalks and enough space for bike-friendly walkways.

Braman Motors’ vision for their new campus is more than just a real estate enterprise. It strives to combine its identity in the luxury automotive industry with urban living innovations. Edgewater, Miami is the ideal location with its incredible bay views and booming technological and industrial development. The Braman Miami Campus is a bold and innovative new structure that takes inspiration from a different industry and melds it into a modern living hub for the future.
