CLIENT NEWS: Garden-style French restaurant Le Jardin Boucherie coming to Miami Beach

August 23, 2022

New York-based hospitality firm The Group will open more of its traditional French and steakhouse restaurants in the region in early 2023.

The Group founder Emil Stefkov will debut Le Jardin Boucherie in Miami Beach and later expand on their collection of Boucherie restaurants.

“We took much into consideration and spent many hours searching for the perfect Miami location for our new garden concept to call home. This expansion plays a part in a larger idea to expand our beloved concepts beyond New York,” Stefkov told the South Florida Business Journal.

Le Jardin Boucherie, coming to 81 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, also operates in Chicago and Washington D.C. The company has plans to expand the concept to several more U.S. cities.

The Group will hire 100 employees for the restaurant, which will span 14,000 square feet indoors with a 5,000-square-foot garden.

“This is our first expansion to Miami, Florida and we will continue to scout additional cities in the future, but our focus is to bring our first garden-themed restaurant, as it became the perfect pairing as Le Jardin Boucherie will fuse the Miami scene with Parisian joie de vivre,” Stefkov said.

The Group plans to expand their other seven restaurants, which include Boucherie West Village, Boucheire Union Square, Petite Boucherie, La Grande Boucherie, Olio e Più, and Washoku Rooms (Omakase Room by Mitsu and Kaiseki Room by Yamada). They will continue to scout additional cities in the future.

“We have already announced Boucherie, Olio e Piùand Omakase Room are anticipated to open in D.C. early 2023 and Chicago’s River North neighborhood in Spring 2023,” Stefkov said.
