Ritz Carlton South Beach

The Ritz Carlton South Beach and Sagamore hotels, situated on Collins Avenue at Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, are currently under our representation. Having secured approvals from the City, the owners are embarking on a significant endeavor encompassing the extensive renovation and restoration of the Sagamore Hotel. Additionally, they plan to introduce a new residential building to the site, ultimately shaping a unified Ritz Carlton South Beach.

The transformative project involves modifications to the existing hotels, such as enhancements to the Sagamore lobby, the establishment of a new entrance to the Ritz Carlton, and the meticulous restoration of the historic Sagamore façade. Further improvements are slated for the rear yard, pool decks, and beach restaurant. A notable feature of the undertaking is the construction of a fifteen-story residential tower positioned behind the Sagamore hotel, designed to accommodate thirty residential units.

Beyond the individual hotel enhancements, this venture is integral to a larger public/private development plan. This comprehensive initiative aims to elevate the public spaces along Lincoln Road, improve beach access, and enhance the City’s Beach Walk. The significance of Lincoln Road, particularly east of Collins Avenue, cannot be overstated, serving as a pivotal pedestrian access point in South Beach with approximately 8,000 people accessing the beach daily. In collaboration with the City, our owners are actively contributing to the first substantial set of improvements in this area in over two decades, underscoring their commitment to the ongoing development and enhancement of this vibrant cityscape.
