At Chetrit Group’s The River District, the first tower has reached level 50 of construction, according to a social media post by contractor G.T. McDonald Enterprise.
It has been just 13 months since the project went vertical, G.T. McDonald wrote.
Top off is likely coming soon, with a total of 54 floors planned.
The tower is planned to have a permanent of 648 feet.
The first phase of construction will have 632 apartments, retail space, and a riverfront promenade open to the public.
There are multiple other phases planned at the development, which is known as The River District.
Eventually, Chetrit plans to build 4 million square feet of new development on the property. That includes about 1,600 residences, Class A office space, and 30,000 square feet of retail.
David Grutman of Groot Hospitality is partnering at The River District to provide restaurant and nightlife venues.
