A developer has filed plans with Miami’s Urban Development Review Board for renovation of Brickell’s 36-story One Broadway tower.
Extensive exterior and interior renovations are planned at the 13-year-old tower which will improve the Miami skyline, a letter from the developer said.
The renovation will include converting the existing 371 residential units to 123 hotel suites and 198 residences.
The redesign includes relocating and adding major amenities, renovations to improve the façade, improved pedestrian level experience, new continuous glass balconies, and activation of the rooftop.
The 9th, 11th, 35th, and 36th levels will include restaurants, multi-purpose spaces, and hotel amenities.
Additionally, four apartment levels will also be combined to create double height living spaces.
The most prominent change will include demolishing the existing roof parapets to make way for a unique, modern clad element.
Form Group is the architect. Park Place At Brickell LLC is the developer.
