Exciting things keep happening in Miami, and winter will be no exception. This year, just in time for the holidays, Urbanspace’s iconic New York City holiday market is making its first national expansion in Lincoln Road District in Miami Beach. Not only is the Magic City a great winter destination, this new holiday market will continue cementing Miami’s reputation as an avant-garde city that doesn’t stay behind.
The Urbanspace Lincoln Road Holiday Market will promote the development of the Lincoln Road District by attracting Miami Beach residents and visitors alike to South Florida’s premier al fresco shopping and dining destination.
“At a time when Miami is abuzz with growth and expansion, we could not be more thrilled to add to the excitement by creating the most unforgettable holiday experience through the new market on Lincoln Road,” said Eldon Scott, President of Urbanspace. “We aim to create spaces where entrepreneurship, community and creativity can flourish and are confident Miami is the ideal locale as our first foray into national expansion of our holiday markets.”
Scott’s sentiments are echoed by Jared Robins, Founder of InHouse Commercial, the real estate partner responsible for bringing the concept to Lincoln Road. “Bringing New York’s famous holiday market to Miami has always been a dream of mine, and I couldn’t have imagined a better location than right here in Miami Beach,” he said. “We are excited to collaborate with Urbanspace to curate a selection of the best local and regional vendors South Florida has to offer. Lincoln Road is experiencing a significant revival, and this is yet another great example of a world-class group making their first move in Miami.”
From November 15 to February 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., revelers can visit the Urbanspace Lincoln Road Holiday Market to experience what Scott and Robins hope will become a beloved annual holiday tradition for Miami.
Over the past four decades, Urbanspace has run the most visible holiday markets in the United States in iconic New York City locations such as Union Square, Columbus Circle, and Bryant Park. Each market is built to be unlike any other in the world. The Lincoln Road Holiday Market will adorn the mile-long pedestrian-only promenade with enchanting, glowing kiosk structures that reflect the sparkle and spirit of the season. Seasonal programming, such as live musical performances, art installations, and photo opportunities with loved ones will also be available.
