City to consider project mixing residential, retail and CVS

The Village of Old Cutler mixed-use project has been proposed in Cutler Bay in south Miami-Dade County.

Clearwater-based Boos Development Group will seek approval of its site plan before the town council on July 20. It would be on the 3.64-acre site at 20002 Old Cutler Road, which currently belongs to Village of Old Cutler Corp., owned by Andres Stefano in Miami.

The project would have a 15,852-square-foot CVS pharmacy store with a drive thru plus a three-story mixed-use building of 40,536 square feet. The latter building would consist of 6,716 square feet of ground-floor retail and 18 apartments on the top two floors. Most of those would be two bedroom units and each of them would have a balcony.

The focal point of the project would be at Old Cutler Road and Southwest 87th Avenue. The project would have 129 surface parking spaces.

The architects are CKE Group for the CVS and Octavio A. Santurio for the mixed-use building.

Miami attorney Graham Penn, who represents Boos Development Group in the application, couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
