A local consumer electronic device distributor could expand its operations in Homestead by constructing a new warehouse.
The city’s Development Review Committee will consider the application from HDDC II LLC, managed by Nir Edri of Hollywood, on April 30. He’s also the head of both Trading Unlimited and AAAA World, which are distributors of consumer electronic products.
The company is seeking site plan approval and an amendment to the Homestead Park of Commerce master plan for the 4.26-acre site just east of the warehouse at 1551 S.E. 36th Ave. The developer acquired the vacant property for $3.19 million in 2025.
The site plan calls for an 82,584-square-foot warehouse rising 42 feet with 90 parking spaces.
Edri said this new warehouse will host an expansion for both AAAA World, which distributes electronics to the United States, and Trading Unlimited, which distributes electronics from the U.S. to Latin America while taking advantage of the park’s free trade zone status. Currently, these companies operate from the 63,699-square-foot warehouse at 3790 Alex Muxo Blvd., which HDDC LLC acquired for $6.05 million in 2020. Edri said it would retain that property as the companies grow into the new warehouse.
He noted that the company moved from Medley to Homestead in 2020 because it has less traffic and lower prices. Edri said he needs more space because both companies are growing.
The developer is working with Miami-based attorney Melissa Tapanes Llahues and Doral-based Cabrera Ramos Architects on the project.
